The Geovation Hub is London’s digital district data lab, supporting creative professionals who wish to experiment with location information and technology.
The aim of the Geovation Programme is to help UK-based start-up entrepreneurs develop and launch innovative new prototype ideas that relate to location information or technology. There are two strands:
The PropTech Programme supports innovative technology businesses to revolutionise the property industry using property and geospatial data.
The GeoTech Programme is our open call for any tech company creating location-based products and services.
The first part of the programme is made up of phases one to three and will take place over a six-month period. During this six-month period, successful applicants will receive a funding total worth £10,000. If a prototype is delivered successfully by the end of this period, the successful applicant may move forward onto phase four.
Phase four will take place over a further six months and another £10,000 worth of funding. Successful applicants will receive funding during each phase that will support their progress and will help them to take their idea to the next level.
Geovation will also assist those who have reached phase four seek extra funding so that they may have more than one source of investment.
Successful applicants will receive the following support:
Six months’ worth of financial support.
The opportunity to partake in one-to-ones, workshops, masterclasses and events.
Developer and business-related support.
The opportunity to access software, technology and geospatial data.
Support from expert leaders in the industry.
Resident member status at the Geovation Hub in London.
Applications for the next intake of the programme (autumn 2018) are open until midnight on 27 August 2018.
